Our MEMS & Micro Devices department designs, develops and manufactures custom microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and assemble micro devices. Our 140 experts working at the MEMS Foundry and Micro Devices Facility follow a phase-gated approach to demonstrate the feasibility and give proof of concept, develop the process to the required maturity level and manufacture your devices with the right quality.
The MEMS foundry operates all sorts of lithography, etching, deposition and wafer bonding processes, for next-generation ultrasound chips (cMUT), microfluidics, BioMEMS, thin film membranes and MEMS mirrors.
The Micro Devices facility operates processes like pick-and-place, die bonding, stud bumping, adhesives, wire bonding, etc, from early development to medium volume manufacturing.
We serve a wide variety of customers, our focus is on new and emerging market(s) (niches), Health being an important focus segment. We are pure-play and do not develop new technologies or applications ourselves.
